Style Me Pretty is a site popular for their real weddings because they are attached to real vendors and real personal inspiration. The site is filled with ideas and inspirations for brides on any budget with any wedding style. Users can create custom inspiration boards for and talk to other users looking for advice. They talk about trends, color palettes and ideas.

In the US there are 2.3 million couples tying the knot every year. That is about 6,200 weddings per day. A whopping $72 billion per year is spent on weddings and the average wedding budget is about $20,000. This transaction is mostly spent between the bridal party and their vendors

Define

The intention for Style Me Pretty to port their experience on iOS is for existing users to have accessibility, speed and convenience. Currently the product lives on the web and for the bride that’s on-the-go we hope to create a faster and more stable experience on an app. We also intend to integrate built-in functions like push-notifications, messaging and placing a call to enhance current features.

The brand owners of the product had data to support that the majority of their users used their site to connect with vendors. They hoped to make this connection stronger by populating the site with more meaningful content to encourage inspiration with the hopes that the user will click through to the vendor and make a connection.
